Fighting with Tenaga Nasional Berhad(TNB)

Yesterday, court delivered judgment in favour of our client. Our client was sued by Tenaga Nasional Berhad on the reason that he has tempering the electricity meter in June 2018. The Tenaga Nasional Berhad claimed the lost from March 2013 to June 2018 using average method. Our client in fact never temper the electricity meter but rent it out to third party ie the tenant. We successfully defended and our client save more that RM400, 000!

The points we put to the court=

• We challenge the method used by TNB (this is very technical, whereby we could not share it here as it need experience to understand their calculation method)
• We manage to secure the tenant and show the liability on the tenant
